As you can see from my photos, I fell in love with Maine. Lobsters, sleeping in, cooking with friends, antique shops, used book stores, farm stands. I am excited to be working on a new interior design project in the most charming town. What a great excuse for me to be able to get back as soon as possible!

Great photos..looks like a very charming place. Of course very interested in seeing how your design project unfolds too.
Beautiful photos. What camera do you use? Love your blog and work.
That is exactly what I have been dreaming of--lobsters for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Thanks for the wonderful photos. Mary
Thanks so much Shelley.
I use a Canon rebel XTI with a 18-135 lens.
It's always so hard to narrow the photos down after a trip...
Oh Sweet Babboo!! This post is just lovely, as are you – best, jp
Wow, Grant. Gorgeous photos! I've not been there in a long time. Need to plan a trip.

Wonderful blog - and I really love the design work you've posted. I'm sorry I haven't had a chance to run into here in SF.

My friend is from Maine and she came back with an album of food shots. The food is as spectacular as the scenery. A perfect place for your inspiring work.
Just lovely, Grant. I miss the East Coast! I'd love to have a little cottage in Maine one day : ) Thanks for sharing these photos!
Congratulations on the new project. Love the picture with a crooked letter.

Grant,
I hate you.
I hate you because you went to Maine without me. :)
I love you.
I love you because you took photos of Maine for me.

Knew you would love it!
ah, makes me miss the east coast!! great shots!
Beautiful pictures, your post is very nostalgic for me. It reminds me of our trips to Maine from Boston (When we lived there in the past century).
I never thought that someone could have a new twist on Maine, but you have! Thanks for the wonderful pictures. Why haven't I taken some like that? I haven't had a lobstah roll for a long time. Maybe I should go to the West Village and get one at Mary's Fish Camp. But I heard that the ones in Brooklyn are better. Ann
lovely, i want to go to maine and taste those apples that seem fresh from the tree
