Inspiration

This is hands down my new favorite candle. I can't seem to get enough of it. Even when it is not burning, the faint smell in the room makes me smile.

Mantes-la- Jolie from Astier de Villatte
Unabashed citrus notes of Mentha cirata, crunchy green- stem notes with fragrant accents, and the instant freshness of eucalyptus recreate a display of fresh herbs, transporting you to a village market.

Really fun working on bedroom for twins! We just had these pillows custom made. You know I love a monogram! I can't wait to see them installed and share the final room really soon. So much fun!

I really love the look of natural woven shades. In fact I have them in every window of my own apartment. They offer such a wonderful texture and layered looked to a space. There are so many beautiful options to choose from. Working on finding just the right one for a great Victorian house project here in San Francisco. It's going to be stunning! (Note: I prefer when possible to install mount roman shades. I think the look is very tailored and clean and allows you to show off any molding detailing that you have.)

I feel the same way about Roman shades; there is privacy or full light, clean lines, no clutter, and as you mentioned millwork can be easily viewed, and window mullions!

Grant,
I can hardly wait to see the results! Are the pillows going in the room with the map?

And Congrats on your photos in the Celerie Kemble book!

I've been hunting for a new home fragrance and Astier de Villatte is always a fabulous choice! I've not smelled Mantes-la-Jolie yet so I'm excited for the tip! Thanks!

I wish I could smell that candle. I can imagine...

Celerie's B&W book is on my Christmas list (I need to give people something to buy me, so decor books all around!!). I love black and white also but your shirts take the cake...you definitely know what you like. Love all the patterns. I am like that with blue shirts - I have at least 15. :)

P.S. Oh, and that Astier platter is gorgeous!

I love wood shades, they seem to go in any room beautifully.

The is a pleasing spareness and geometry to the design of the objects in each of these images.

I would like to have some of those blinds in the future.

well, this is maybe the dumbest question, but what is "install mount" in reference to the bamboo shades? i love them, btw.

Kerry- inside mount shades are basically just that. Mounting them inside the window frame on the interior portion of the molding-vs hanging outside of the window frame.
