No, really, I am. We aren’t taking about my hair but rather that I’m having my built in bookcase in my living room painted grey.
I know I mentioned that I was doing some minor changes around my place, and trying to get my place looking good just in time for the holidays.
Sometimes I get so focused on client projects that I feel a bit like the cobbler’s children. I have wanted to paint the bookcase for quite some time, so I was thrilled that my painter has a free day in his schedule to make this happen for me.
Oh, and since I know that you are going to ask- the color is Farrow & Ball’s Railings. It happens to be one of my go-to dark greys.
I can already see how this minor make over is going to change the whole feel of the space. So what do you think so far? I will be sure to share my after photos soon.
Hope that you have a great Thanksgiving this week!

Love it Grant.I am seemingly getting grayer as the days pass on too! Age, yes that is a factor, but the depth and midrange tone is calling my gray side to convert and come on over.....
Happy Turkey Day!

Next to white, I love gray. Can't wait to see this finished.
Love the color you are using for the shelves ... although it is looking more and more like MY hair color!!! Happy Turkey Day.
Gorgeous F&B color - just looked at it myself on Friday during a pop into the D&D Building. Can't wait to see the finished project!
