the 8th streeters
"Fiori di zucca" or zucchine's flowers are my favourite when back in Italy (stuffed with mozzarella and anchovies, covered in batter and deep fried...) see if you can have some at a restaurant.
I'm not the envious type (ok, yes I am a little) but it doesn't matter. I'm so jealous (to think I almost joined you--aarrggghh!!!) but glad to see what an amazing time you're having. Love to Suzanna and the gang. And those photos?! Grant, they're...what's the word...magical....artistic....amazing. You've got the gift. Really.
