Heather at Habitually Chic I Heart YOU/The Italian Lake photos

I have to say THANK YOU THANK YOU to Heather over at Habitually Chic for her most wonderful post on Tuesday and for those who haven't had a chance to view the post it is at: http://habituallychic.blogspot.com/2009/01/i-heart-grant-k-gibson.html

I have recently posted pictures of my trips and people have been emailing asking me about them and saying that they liked seeing them and also asking if I really took the photos (yes they are all mine on my Canon XTi Rebel). I normally take around 1000 pictures or so on trip so these are my edited down versions. To be honest most of my friends have no interest...but seems like people out there in the world (other than me) actually like them...so with that...

I dedicate this post to the LOVELY AND AMAZING Heather from Habitually Chic for her lovely mention of me and for her encouraging me to be creative with my photos. Heather thinks that I could sell them or make travel book out of my photos (I am not so sure about all of that) but for now enjoy my photos of my trip to the Italian Lakes from last year!

Grant - you are too sweet! It was a pleasure to feature you and your beautiful photos! I definitely think you could sell them or become a travel photographer ;-)

I completely agree...I was about to recommend that you check into selling them, when I read that Heather had already recommended the idea. There are several that I would buy. Love the cheeky buttocks shot!

Those really are envy inducing. I have a weird fascination with fig leaves (I suppose because I absolutely adore fresh figs, but since the season is so short I need to make do with the leaves) so was thrilled to see a photo of them this morning!

Thanks for sharing these wonderful images. Clearly you have a love affair with Italy (as do I) and I'm inspired to edit my own mountain of photos from recent trips. I realize I don't take enough detail shots -- thanks for the lesson! Can't wait to see what you see on your next trip to la serenissima!!

Thank you for showing your beautiful pictures of Italian houses, gardens and sculpture. I saved the ones of the Boxwood(?) in the impruneta terracotta
pots. They are perfect shots of the concept.
Great blog with a great mix- please keep it coming!

I felt like I just came home from an enchanting vacation! I love your 'eye' of cropping out the most interesting part of the picture... Teasing the viewer to the real focus!!!
Bravo!!
