I'm back!
2011 has really kicked off with a great start!
I have just returned from my trip to South America (Colombia to be exact- where I traveled to Bogota, Villa de Leyva and Cartagena).
I can't wait to share my photos and adventures with you. I am still sorting the photos (over 2,000!).
Now I have the travel bug for some more exotic adventures. Thinking of some options.
How about you? Do you have any great travel plans for this year or suggestions on some of your favorite places?
Here are a few photos to share so far.
More really soon, I promise...

I'm afraid I'm terribly pedestrian - Europe is about as exotic as I want to get. Japan has always intrigued me but seems so far away LOL.
Glad you had a great time......Colombia is gorgeous. The colors of the hammocks and shawls are so inspiring.
I love your photos! My clothing is actually made near Bogota in Buccaramanga but I have never been there. I hope you share more pictures.
Now Columbia will be on my list. I do recommend Peru & Machu Pichu. Argentina is also one of my favorites in South America.
Glad your are back safely. I find I can enjoy travel right here through the generous blogposts (for now) of the well traveled.
Really enjoy the great photos and look forward to more.
INDIA!!! I dream of getting over to the pink palace and buying yummy colored gemstone rings and bracelets set in pure gold, spices, hand block printed linens and cottons… how amazing does that sound!
My daughter (Caitlin of Sacramento St) and I are planning our next big trip to Istanbul. In the near future we'll be going to Santa Fe! I'm so glad you liked Colombia and also glad to know you are back! Amazing photos.
Can't wait to hear and see more! Looks like a wonderful and inspiring trip.
Looking forward to seeing more pics. I'd like to see Cambodia.
Wow...glad you are back......you were missed. I can't wait to be a virtual traveler through your much anticipated photos!...k
How fabulous! I have heard that Cartagena is incredibly beautiful. Glad for a safe return.
Wonderful photographs! I can't wait to see the rest of them.
Would love to see more photographs of Cartagena -- I remember being piped aboard one of the navy's fleet there -- they had assembled an entire flotilla of yachts, speedboats, sailboats et. al. taken from drug dealer/sailors.
1980? I remember Regan was shot in DC while we were down there....

Your pics are fabulous. I am traveling around the world on the Seabourn Sojourn presently en route to New Zeland after time in Tahiti. Sunrises are amazing at sea
