The NEW look of Restoration Hardware

By now I am sure that you have seen the new look/makeover that Restoration Hardware has recently launched.
I know personally that when I started to see photos on blogs and on their site as well as the new catalog- my jaw pretty much dropped. The style was so different from what I was used to seeing...

Tonight was the launch party at the flagship store in Corte Madra (about 20 minutes north of San Francisco- over the Golden Gate bridge).
The store glowed- was styled perfectly and was just a great mix of the new look.
The price point seems to be very reasonable- and it really looks straight out of Belgium (with the rustic finishes and natural linen on everything) à la- Axel Vervoordt

The invitation was so creative for the opening- sent in a grey box with a great old looking key. It was a great attention to detail and really caught my eye.

I really enjoyed the steam trunk secretary the leather chaise and the
crest bedding

I even found great nesting tables that I am ready to email to a client to see if they like it for a great addition next to their new living room sofa. You never know when you are going to have a furniture sighting!

Great job Restoration Hardware and it's entire team for putting together a great new look- bringing great design to the masses.

Grant,

I was really excited to see the "new look" as well.
I am crazy over the crest bedding would love to add embelishments to the smallest crest pillow for a real "wow" effect.

The look is so strong and rugged without being overdone and very European influenced. Love it!

Hi Grant-
RH did do a fabulous job-have drooled over that steamer trunk and the leather lounge a la Marcel Breuer. The lounge design is by Atlantan Mark Sage. Recently, visited his antique shop, Love Train Antiques-where I saw what I surmised to be the prototype for the chair Mark did for RH. Made me giddy, so I snapped a pic to share with my readers. If you like that lounge, I think you, too, will get a kick out of my subsequent post-

Love your blog and I now have my old llbean hanging in the bathroom, full of TP.

Best-
Claire

Grant,

Total side note, I know. But just saw your place "The Renovated Rental" on NYT site. OMG... stunning! Breathtakingly beautiful.

I'm sure you're just itching to take on some Pro Bono work and, as luck would have it, I'm open to it! ;)

Anyway, well, well, done!

I wonder if you saw "Greet's" blog as she posted inspiring photos juxtaposed by Restoration Hardware.
The new product looks timeless, and worldly.

I was shocked by the new look as well. But it looks like nice quality stuff. The NYC Flatiron Gallery store is so dark inside! It's nice and I love the new moodiness, but I'm like, help me! Wha' happened?!

great site here and really like the pics of the new RH. I love this stuff but I really question the price point in this economy and where that price is trending?
