(for everyone else who is interested this was my first tiny studio apartment about 5 years ago right after moving from NY to San Francisco. It was a charming space on Nob Hill with the cable car going by- ding ding! The funny part of the whole HGTV thing was that I say on tape that I loved living there and didn't want to move- well before it even aired I stumbled across my new apartment (larger than the studio) and wasn't even living there anymore. I do drive by and think of all that I did to the space and how my design has evolved over time (I only still own the pair of coffee tables and the pillow on the daybed in the window with the crown on it) Oh and the dinner parties with everyone crammed into the space! Oh my!
