Even though I was only 9, I do though vividly remember the experience, especially the open market where we watched a snake charmer and the medina. At that time, Morocco did not want tourists to venture way into the medina so my mother had to pay our guide extra money to take us through.

I hope you have an amazing trip. I ended up staying there, and from the moment I arrived I knew I had selected well. It was built in the 17th century as a small palace. It has all the layers of craftsmanship for which the Moroccan culture is renowned . It's called Riad Sebban. I was so inspired I've started a series of small paintings from this last trip.

Best Regards,

WayneWayne David Handhttp://waynedavidhand.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31185452.post-9687455342481299252012-02-27T10:55:08.918-08:002012-02-27T10:55:08.918-08:00The Cluny Museum in Paris! The Cluny Museum in Paris!Ellienoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31185452.post-14250052088565030782012-02-27T10:00:59.471-08:002012-02-27T10:00:59.471-08:00This is going to be an incredible trip!
